FYR Macedonia has picked Martija Stanojković for JESC!

The Macedonian national broadcaster MKRTV have announced their act for Junior Eurovision later this year. The participant is Martija Stanojković, who is 12 years old.

Martija originates from a city called Kumanovo, which is only 20 kilometres away from the nation’s capital, Skopje. When she was at the young age of 5, she began expressing her talent, and joined the dancing studio Ultra DSU. 2 years later, she recorded her first song titled Pejacka Ke Stanam, which translates to I Will Be a Singer.

That brings us to 2016. Martija participated in a TV show called Pink’s Star. She ended up coming second in the competition and impressed audiences with her talent. FYR Macedonia in Junior Eurovision

The nation has participated in Junior Eurovision now 11 times. In 2007 and 2008, FYR Macedonia came 5th, which is the highest place in the 11 showings. Could this be the year for FYR Macedonia?
