Melodifestivalen Semi-Final 2: Who is going straight to the final?

The second semi-final of Sweden’s popular national final selection Melodifestivalen has now taken place in Malmö, where another 7 acts have performed for the ideal positions of 1^st and 2^nd, which will send them directly to the final, or otherwise 3^rd or 4^th, which will send the act to the second chance round.

The seven acts were:

1. Mariette – A Million Years

2. Roger Pontare – Himmel och Hav

3. Etzia – Up

4. Allyawan – Vart har du vart

5. Dismissed – Hearts Align

6. Lisa Ajax – I Don’t Give A

7. Benjamin Ingrosso – Good Lovin’

The voting revealed that Mariette and Benjamin Ingrosso would both go directly to the final, however the places were still up for the second chance round.

Coming in at 7^th place was Allyawan, 6^th was Etzia and 5^th was Roger Pontare. This left Dismissed and Lisa Ajax remaining, and despite Lisa’s polarising lyrics, she still managed to remain in the competition. Turns out Sweden does give a…
