This weekend, the last semi-final of Latvia’s national selection process Supernova took place, where the final 7 acts competed for the last two spots in the final. The voting was a mixture of both jury and televoting.

Laura Rizzotto – Funny Girl
With the voting revealed, it was Lauris Valters and Laura Rizzotto who had scored the last two places in the final with their songs Lovers Bliss and Funny Girl respectively. These two acts will join the qualifying acts from the previous two semi-finals.
As we know, last week saw a bit of controversy, as it was later revealed that there had been a mix up with the voting, and Markus Riva was meant to be in the final, and as such was added to the line-up. This week we also may be seeing a wildcard entry join the 7 finalists, but we will update this post when that news comes in!
