Eurovision Pre-Party Riga 2018! Here are the Confirmed Performers!

Over the years, Eurovision pre-parties have become hugely popular, as they allow the Eurovision representatives to promote and perform in front of fans, but also it’s a great opportunity for the fans who can’t make it to the contest itself.

For the 5th year, a Eurovision pre-party will take place in Riga, Latvia, featuring participants past and present. The concert will take place on Saturday the 24th of March at the Crystal Club Concert Hall in Riga. This is also a celebratory concert since Eurovision was held in Latvia 15 years ago, and as the slogan of that year was Magical Rendezvous, they’re bringing back the theme for the upcoming concert.

The show will be hosted by former Eurovision participant Roberto Meloni, who has represented Latvia twice as part of Bonaparti.lv and also Pirates of the Sea in 2007 and 2008 respectively. So far there have been a handful of artists confirming their participation, however we expect more to be announced in the coming days.

So far the artists performing are of course Latvia’s participant Laura Rizzotto, Moldova’s group DoReDos, Lithuania’s performer Ieva Zasimauskaitė and the Czech artist Mikolas Josef. The show will also feature Malta’s 2015 artist Amber as a special guest!

We also now know that Latvian national finalist Markus Riva will be opening the show!

Tickets are still available for the concert, and if you’re interested you can buy tickets here. Stay tuned for more announcements of who will be participating in the concert!
