For the duration of the actual World Cup, some of the best Eurovision artists old and new will be battling it out in a series of matches that mirror the World Cup itself. By the end, we will know the first winner of our Eurovision World Cup!
On each competition day of the World Cup, all of the matches for that day will be posted here on Eurovision Union. For a full 24 hours, a poll will be open for each match and it will be up to you to pick which of the representative songs will win the match.
It’s Day 13, and we are inching ever closer to knowing which two countries from each group will progress to the next round. For many of these countries, their third match in this round is make or break, and it’s up to you to decide which nations will continue! Today all the matches from Group C and D will take place! This match is between Armenia and Austria!
Today’s competitors:
Armenia is yet to win Eurovision, but they have sure sent some successful songs over the years, including today’s Eurovision World Cup representative. Armenia’s best placing is 4th, which they have achieved twice, so it was once again organiser’s choice – and we chose Sirusho with Qele Qele! Let the party really begin!
Austria has had a long history at Eurovision, but despite that, they have only won the contest two times! That gave us a choice of which winner would represent Austria at the Eurovision World Cup, and for the sake of diversity, we decided to choose the most recent winner who as you will remember is Conchita Wurst with the song Rise Like A Phoenix! Conchita won Eurovision 2014 with a total of 290 points.

Voting is now closed. Congratulations to Armenia for winning this match!
