Belarus announces their Junior Eurovision national finalists!

As we inch closer to this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we are starting to know more about which nations will be competing, as well as who will be representing the competing nations. This year’s host nation Belarus has already begun their selection process, and now we have the latest news!

The nation will be holding a public national selection, and the competition has now progressed through the audition stage in order to find 10 finalists who will compete for the opportunity to represent Belarus on home soil. A panel of jurors was used to select the finalists out of a total of 62 submissions of varying genres.

Here are the finalists:

  • Artem Skorol – Ulybnis
  • Yelizaveta Meya – Zorka
  • Mariya Gulevich – Ostrov Chikarum
  • Daniel Aleks Yastremskiy – Time
  • Angelina Yaroshchuk – Feeling Good
  • Myata – Odnazhdy
  • Nikita Belko – Ne preday
  • Mariya Zhilina – Welcome To My Belarus
  • Yaroslav Sokolikov – Mir na zemle
  • Monkey Tops – Na stile

The national selection will be held on the 31st of August. The winner will be decided with 50% televote and 50% jury vote and will follow in the footsteps of last year’s competitor Helena Meraai who finished in 5th place with her song I Am The One.
