Although Spanish duo Amaia and Alfred failed to race up the Eurovision scoreboard this year, there’s no denying that the national final format of Operación Triunfo was a massive hit both in Spain and beyond.
One of the biggest stars to come out of the latest season was Aitana, who was the eventual runner up. During the Eurovision Gala she featured in two of the three songs that fought it out in the second round of voting. The first was a solo titled Arde, and the second was a duet with Ana Guerra titled Lo Malo – a song that has been a big hit amongst fans.
Now, Aitana has released her debut single out of the competition, and it’s titled Teléfono, a song that we think reaches the heights of her previous songs, if not better. The song has such an incredibly catchy melody and beat that it’s bound to be a hit. In a way, this track gives off Ariana Grande vibes, with the only difference being the Spanish lyrics!
The official video was released on YouTube on the 26th of July, and has since racked up over 18 million views, and you can check it out here!
