After a somewhat confusing selection process, we finally know which Ukrainian act will represent the nation at Junior Eurovision this year. A total of 10 acts participated in the online selection, and the public could vote on the artist they preferred, although this acted as a guide for the jury’s final choice.
The winner of the selection was 11 year old Darina Krasnovetsky with her song Say Love which you can listen to below:
It appears that Darina was not the winner of the public vote, but as previously mentioned, the voting only acted as guide for the jury who made the final choice. Topping the voting was Kain Rivers with Alexander Balabanov coming in second. Darina was in third place with the public voting, but the jury selected Darina as the Ukrainian representative.
