Armenian broadcaster ARMTV have now confirmed that Armenia will participate at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
The broadcaster has not only confirmed their participation, but also confirmed that they will once again use the national final format of Depi Mankakan Evratesil to select their Eurovision entry. This is the second year that the selection has been used. The submission window is now open for interested 9 to 14 year olds.
Some of the rules of participation include:
- Armenian citizens and Armenian children can take part
- The participants must have a song ready for the competition
- The music and lyrics must not have been published prior to May 1st 2019
- The song must be between 2 minutes 30 and 3 minutes
Last year Armenia was represented by L.E.V.O.N who performed a song of the same name. Watch the performance below:
