Lithuania: Eurovizijos Atranka Participants Announced!

Lithuanian broadcaster LRT have now announced the participants for the upcoming edition of their national selection, Eurovizijos Atranka. A total of 60 songs were received during the submission period, with a jury reviewing and selecting a total of 36 entries for the heats.

The selection will begin on the 11th of January, and will run until the 15th of February. The first three shows will be heats, where half the acts will be eliminated. There will then be two semi-finals, where a total of four songs will qualify from each show. There will be a total of eight songs in the final, and the winner will go on to represent Lithuania at Eurovision.

The results of the shows will be decided though a mix of jury voting, and public voting both at 50%. Unlike in previous years, the jury will no longer comment on the performances but instead will view the performances in a separate room. The public vote will no longer be revealed in the show, however the overall results will be revealed at the end of the show. In the case of a tie, the jury vote will take preference.

Jurijus represented Lithuania in 2019 with the song, Run With The Lions which finished in 11th place in the semi-final. Watch the performance below:
