Poland: Szansa Na Sukces Participants Revealed!

Earlier in the season, it was announced that the national final format Szansa na Sukces would be used to select the Polish Eurovision act, after the success of the Junior Eurovision selection of the same format. Now, the participants have been revealed, as well as more details about the semi-finals.

A total of 21 participants will take part in the selection, with 7 participants in each of the three semi-finals. Here is the line-up:

Semi-Final 1:

The semi-finalists will perform cover songs, with a different ‘theme’ each week. In the first semi-final, the artists will cover ABBA songs, while in semi-final two, the participants will cover Eurovision songs. In the third semi-final, the participants will sing Beatles songs.

In each semi-final, only one participant will qualify to the final. The participants will be judged by a jury consisting of Cleo (Eurovision 2014), Michał Szpak (Eurovision 2016) and Gromee (Eurovision 2018).

There are some familiar names in the line-up, but most notably is Albert ÄŒerny who is the lead singer of the Czech group, Lake Malawi. The group represented the Czech Republic at Eurovision in 2019, however Albert will be participating as a soloist.

The semi-finals will be broadcast on February 2nd, 9th and 16th. The final will take place on the 23rd of February.
