Lara and Irina will represent North Macedonia at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The duo was internally selected by the broadcaster.
Lara Trpcheska is a student at the Pianoforte Music School. At the age of 5, she performed at Zlatno Slavejče; North Macedonia’s most established children’s music contest. After this, she went on to performing at the Tartini international singing contest, where she finished runner-up. She then won the Polyhymnia music contest in Skopje in 2018.
Irina Davidovska is from Skopje and studies at OOU Partenija Zografski, where she began as a member of the Piccolo children’s choir. During this time, she performed with the Macedonia Philharmonic Orchestra.
Lara and Irina met in 2018 while taking part in festivals and developed a friendship. The duo now look forward to their next challenge, the Junior Eurovision Song Festival! Their song is yet to be revealed.
