Armenia’s Public Television Company have now announced the two participants who will take to the Junior Eurovision stage later this year. The two performers are 13 year old singers Anahit Adamyan and Mary Vardanyan! The duo was decided by internal selection by a creative team made up of industry professionals.
Anahit was born in Sochi, Russia, however maintains a strong connection to her motherland Armenia. Although only 13, Anahit has already participated in the Russian edition of The Voice: Kids, and Igor Krutoy’s Battle of Talents. She is a fan of the Junior Eurovision song contest, and is now very excited to be able to represent Armenia alongside Mary.
Mary was born in Vardenis, Armenia. Back in 2011, she began her studies in music, and has since participated in many music competitions both in Armenia, and internationally. Last year, she participated in the Renaissance International Music Festival, and this year, she gets to perform internationally once again.
The girls have promised to give their best performance on the Junior Eurovision stage, but for now, we don’t know the song they will perform. The song reveal is bound to happen over the next few months, so stay tuned!
