Earlier in the Junior Eurovision season, we reported on Malta’s junior national final winner, Christina Magrin! Today, she has premiered the song that she will be taking to the Junior Eurovision stage in her home country of Malta. The song is called Parachute, and was premiered on Maltese television.
Christina gets to show off her amazing vocal ability in this song, which followers of her will come to know and love. She has previously performed in numerous languages, including English, Maltese, Albanian, Serbian, French, Italian, Macedonian, Ukrainian, Spanish and Bulgarian. Her first big break came from her performance of the 2012 Albanian Eurovision song Suus, which reached over 400k YouTube viewers in only a couple of days. The video went viral in Albania, and as such, the composer of Suus had promised to compose a song and launch it in the Balkans.
Unlike in regular adult Eurovision, Malta is one of the most successful nations in Junior Eurovision, now having won the contest twice in a matter of 3 years, and hosted after both of those wins, including hosting this year after Destiny won in 2015. Could this be the third win for Malta?
Listen to Parachute below and tell us what you think!
