Sweden’s Erik Rapp releases new EP!

Former Junior Eurovision artist Erik Rapp has just dropped a new EP titled Lovers. The EP features four new tracks with a grown up sound, and an Erik with a grown up look.

Erik participated in Junior Eurovision back in 2011, where he ended up in 9th place. Since then, he has participated in the Swedish version of Idol, where he made it through the audition stage, and through to the semi-finals where he was then eliminated. Not long after, he released a single called Wild, and then in 2015 he released a song called Available, which now features on the EP.

At 20 years old now, Erik has developed his own musical style, which can be described as a mixture of soul and pop. This sound can be heard on his new EP, which features the songs No Reason, Closer to You, Look Like Lovers and Available.

The EP as a whole has a very fresh, grown up sound which wouldn’t be out of place on alternative radio. All four songs have a story to tell, and a story we’re willing to listen to, but a favourite would have to be No Reason, which has a very chilled vibe that we’re a bit lot in love with.
