Eurovizijos Semi-Final Complete! Who made it into the final?

Since early January, Lithuania has been slowly whittling down on the 51 acts that were submitted to the Lithuanian broadcaster, and overnight, the nation chose their final 6 acts. In the semi-final, there were a total of 8 acts which had survived weeks of heats.

Here is the complete list of semi-finalists:

  • Sasha Song – Never Felt Like This Before

  • Ieva Zasimauskaitė – You Saved Me

  • Paula – Let U Go

  • Aistė Pilvelytė – I’m Like a Wolf

  • Kotryna Juodzevičiūtė – Love Shadow

  • Fusedmarc – Rain of Revolution

  • Gabrielius Vagelis – Feel Myself Free

  • Greta Zazza – Like I Love You

In this week’s results, the juries and the Lithuanian public were in agreeance, giving their 12 points each to Fusedmarc with the song Rain of Revolution. The Lithuanian jury gave their 10 points to Aistė, and even though the international jury didn’t quite agree, giving her only 4 points, she still managed to come in at 2nd place with 10 points in the televoting. The international jury (the Lithuanian and International jury points are added together to give an overall jury vote) gave their 12 points to Gabrielius Vagelis, and coming 2nd with the international jury was Paula.

From the semi-final, only 6 songs would qualify. Here are the final six Lithuanian acts:

  • Paula – Let U Go

  • Aistė Pilvelytė – I’m Like a Wolf

  • Kotryna Juodzevičiūtė – Love Shadow

  • Fusedmarc – Rain of Revolution

  • Gabrielius Vagelis – Feel Myself Free

  • Greta Zazza – Like I Love You

This means that former Eurovision participant Sasha Song is now out of the contest, after being one of the juries’ favourites over the weeks. Next week, the final will take place, where the winner as voted by the jury and Lithuanian public will go on to represent the nation in Kyiv.

Update: We also now know that Lolita Zero will be returning to the final after an online vote of acts already out of the competition, with the vote to decide which of those acts would be getting a ‘wildcard’ to the final. Get Frighten!
