The winner of the show was Polina Bogusevich with the song Krylya, who received the 12 points from the jury and the internet vote, plus the 12 bonus points given to each and every act meant that Polina finished with a perfect score of 36. Coming in at second was Veronika Ustimova, and third was Vilena Khikmatullina.
Polina is only 13 years old, and was born in the nation’s capital, Moscow. In 2014, she competed in the Voice Kids Russia, where she was a member of Dima Bilan’s team, and interestingly enough, she was within the same team as Bulgarian Eurovision participant from 2017, Kristian Kostov, however she was knocked out in the battle rounds. Later in that year, she represented Russia in New Wave Junior 2014, where she finished in 2nd.
