Proving that they’re not just a one hit wonder, Bulgarian super group Equinox have announced that they will continue to work together. The group, which was formed with Eurovision in mind tweeted that they have begun working on new projects together, and to stay tuned.
But that’s not all! The group have also tweeted that they have been signed to the label Universal Music, which is a significant moment for the Bulgarian music scene, as they are the first act from Bulgaria to be signed to a major international record label.
The group consists of Zhana Bergendorff, Georgi Simeonov (JJ), Vlado Mihailov, Trey Campbell and Johnny Manuel, with the latter two originally from America. As Equinox, they performed their Eurovision entry ‘Bones’ in the first semi-final, where they qualified through to the final. Their final result was 14th place with a total of 166 points. This was the third year in a row we have seen Bulgaria in the final, with Poli Genova and Kristian Kostov not only qualifying, but also giving Bulgaria their best results in their Eurovision history.
