France returned to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2018 after a 14 year break at the contest, and after their successful result in this year’s contest, they have announced that they will be returning in 2019.
French broadcaster France 2 have confirmed that they will be participating at Junior Eurovision 2019 which will be held in Poland. It was reported that a total of 1.16 million viewers watched the 2018 contest in France.
Angélina represented France in 2018 with the song Jamais Sans toi which led the nation to a very respectable 2nd place finish with 203 points. The previous time France had been present at Junior Eurovision was back in 2004 when Thomas Pontier finished 6th.
