It has barely been a month since Junior Eurovision 2018, however Russia is already preparing for the 2019 season.
Karusel and the Igor Krutoy Academy have announced that potential participants can now apply with their entries. There are some rules for the selection process, with those being:
- Participants must be between the age of 9 and 14 as of November 2019
- The songs must not have been released publicly before the 1st of May 2019
- Up to 25% of the song can be in English, but no more
- The song must contain at least one verse and chorus in Russian
The submission period will continue until March 20, and after this date, auditions will be held in Moscow. The selection will be held at the Artek International Children’s Centre in Crimea.
