The Ukrainian national selection continued this weekend with the final eight acts performing their entries on the Vidbir stage.
Here was the line-up from the first semi-final:
- Ivan Navi – All for the Love
- Anna Maria – My Road
- Kazka – Apart
- Kira Mazur – Dykhaty
- Laud – 2dni
- Khayat – Ever
- Braii – Maybe
- Freedom Jazz – Cupidon
The results of the show were decided through a mixture of jury and televote. The three songs with the most points combined would qualify through to the final. The jury consisted of Jamala, Andriy Danylko and Yevhen Filatov.
In the jury vote, the highest scoring acts were Freedom Jazz with 8 points, followed by Kazka with 7 points and Laud with 6 points.
In the televote, achieving 8 points was also Freedom Jazz, followed by Anna Maria and Khayat with 7 and 6 points respectively.
With the points combined, here are the qualifiers:
- Anna Maria – My Road
- Kazka – Apart
- Freedom Jazz – Cupidon
Next week the final will take place, where the following acts will compete for the chance to represent Ukraine at Eurovision this year:
- Anna Maria – My Road
- Brunettes Shoot Blondes – Houston
- Freedom Jazz – Cupidon
- Kazka – Apart
- Maruv – Siren Song
- Yuko – Galyna guliala
