Weekly Poll Results #2: Here are the Current results of our Eurovision 2019 Poll!

Two weeks ago we launched our Eurovision 2019 poll, where we aimed to find out which act you, the fans, think will win this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Each week, we will be recapping the results of the poll to see who is leading the vote, and who is floating in and out of the Top 10.

This week we saw Switzerland hold the lead, however the percentage of the vote they hold in the poll has reduced. The Netherlands has remained in 2nd place, however their percentage has increased over the past week. Italy remains in third with a similar percentage of the vote.

Switzerland currently hold 24% of the vote which is a significant lead over the second placed Netherlands which currently hold 10% of the vote. In third is Italy with over 6% of the vote.

Here is the full Top 10 as it currently stands:

  • Switzerland
  • The Netherlands
  • Italy
  • Portugal
  • Cyprus
  • Iceland
  • Malta
  • Greece
  • Norway
  • Russia/Australia (tied)

How does this compare with the odds?

Switzerland has moved up in the odds this week, now in third behind the Netherlands and Russia. As last week, our Top 10 poll results aren’t too far off the Top 10 in the odds. Norway closes out the top 10, whereas Norway sits in 9th in our poll with the current results. Iceland have moved up in the odds as well as our poll, now 5th in the odds and 6th in our poll. Cyprus and Portugal are sitting higher in our poll than the odds, but not too far off.

There is only one nation that isn’t a part of our Top 10 poll results but that’s in the odds, and that’s Sweden. Currently Australia is tied with Russia in 10th place in our poll, however Australia is currently 17th in the odds. Portugal is in 11th in the odds, however 4th in our poll.
