Share the Joy: Junior Eurovision theme revealed!

Earlier in the year, it was announced that the Polish city of Gliwice-Silesia would be hosting the upcoming edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The Arena Gliwice will be the host venue, and the show will take place on Sunday the 24th of November.

Now more details have been released about the theme of the show. The European Broadcasting Union in collaboration with the Polish Broadcaster TVP have now announced the official slogan of the contest, as well as released the official logo. The theme is ‘Share the Joy.’

The details were released in a press conference held at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, and the press conference included members of the upcoming team such as Gert Kart (Project Manager), Konrad Smuga (Creative Director) and Mata Piekarska (Project Coordinator). Also attending the conference was last year’s winner Roksana Węgiel.

The logo for the contest features an illuminated, colourful kite which symbolises freedom, light and shared joy. The creative concept represents how to work together to bring happiness, and to celebrate the best moments in life.
