With this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest approaching, more news is now being announced, with the latest news from The Netherlands. Once again, the nation will be holding a national selection to choose their next Junior Eurovision act, with the final to take place on the 28th of September.
The final will take place at the Theater Hanzehof, which has previously hosted the Junior Songfestival. The show will help select both the artist and song that will represent The Netherlands in the upcoming contest which is set to take place in Gliwice-Silesia in Poland.
At this stage, 50 singers have been shortlisted, with the auditions having already taken place. Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS will announce the competitors in the upcoming months.
Last year The Netherlands was represented by Max and Anne who performed the song ‘Samen’ which finished in 13th place. Watch the performance below:
