Giveaway Time! Win a Eurovision Prize Pack!

Here at Eurovision Union we are once again offering an exciting opportunity to win a Eurovision Prize Pack! This year’s prize consists of two main prizes which are:

  • The Very Best of Eurovision Song Contest: A 60th Anniversary CD, featuring 44 of the most popular, well-known and most successful hits over the history of the Eurovision Song Contest
  • Eurovision! A History of Modern Europe Through the World’s Greatest Song Contest, a book by Chris West

Here is the description of the book:

‘Do you think the world of the Eurovision Song Contest, with its crazy props, even crazier dancers and crazier still songs has nothing to do with serious European politics? Think again.

The Contest is watched by over 200 million viewers worldwide. It’s one big party – but it’s also a mirror for the enormous changes in society, fashion, politics, technology and ideas that have swept the continent since 1956, when the first contestants stood and sand in ballgowns and dinner jackets. It has beamed hope across the iron curtain, inspired new nations, given voices to silent minorities and once even triggered a national revolution.

Eurovision! tells the parallel stories of the Contest and of modern Europe. It shows how seamlessly they interact, and what a fantastic journey it has been’

The contest begins at midnight 24/6/19 (UTC+10) and will run for two weeks, ending on 8/7/19 at midnight (UTC+10). The winner of the giveaway will be contacted after the giveaway period has ended. If the winner does not respond via social media within 48 hours, a new winner will be selected and contacted.
