Georgian broadcaster GPB have confirmed that the upcoming season of Georgian Idol will begin in October.
The selection, which will help select the next Georgian Eurovision act, will begin in October with the Auditions currently taking place. There are four audition sessions, which started in the nation’s capital Tbilisi on August 17th to 18th. They will continue on August 24th in Kutaisi, in Batumi on August 25th, then returning to Tbilisi on August 30th and 31st.
Georgia’s 2019 Eurovision representative was chosen through the Georgian Idol format, and as we know, it was Oto Nemsadze who was selected with the song Sul tsin Iare (Keep On Going). Watch his Eurovision performance below:
