Vincent Bueno to represent Austria at Eurovision 2020!

Austrian broadcaster ORF have now announced that Vincent Bueno will represent Austria at Eurovision 2020, which will be held in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The 34 year-old artist will be performing the up-tempo song titled ‘Alive’ at the contest, however the song will be released in March.

Vincent has commented on his upcoming gig, saying, ‘Wow, even thinking about the fact that I am going to participate in the song contest gives me goosebumps. The Eurovision Song Contest is like the Eurocup for musicians and singers. The huge stage, all those artists doing their absolute best, all the songwriters and producers of Europe gathering in one place to celebrate their work while at the same time stepping into the ring – it is breathtaking and formidable. Let’s go Austria!’

Vincent Bueno is an Austrian-born Filipino singer who is based in both Austria and the Philippines. Back in 2008, he won the ORF program, Musical Die Show which was a reality based contest that tested the competitors talents in theatrical and dancing skills.

In 2010, he performed on Filipino television for the first time, on ASAP XV where he was introduced as the ‘Pinoy Champ Austrian Singer.’ He also signed a contract with Star Records, but then travelled between Austria and the Philippines for different commitments.

In 2016, he participated in the Austrian national selection with the song All We Need Is That Love.
