The first semi-final of the Polish Junior Eurovision selection, Szansa na Sukces has taken place, where a total of 7 artists competed for just one qualifying position.
On the judging panel for the show was winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019, Viki Gabor, alongside Edyta Gorniak, Polish Eurovision representative in 1994 and Piotr Rubik who composed the Polish Junior Eurovision entry in 2016.

The winner of the first semi-final was Lena Marzec. She will perform again in the Final, which will take place on September 27th. Lena is not new to televised singing competitions, having competed in The Voice Kids in the same season as Viki Gabor. Her coaches on the show were Tomson & Baron, and she continued until right before the final when she was eliminated.
