Earlier in the Junior Eurovision season, it was announced that Soleá would be representing Spain at this year’s contest. Now, her song Palante has been released, with an accompanying music video.
The upbeat song has a positive message, with Soleá hoping that her song will emphasize the importance of unity, and to encourage youth to look to the future. Watch the music video below:
The music video was filmed in Soleá’s hometown Sevilla at locations such as The Torre Del Oro, Plaza de España and Parque de María. Palante was composed by César G. Ross, Hajar Sbihi and Bruno Valverde.
Soleá Fernandez Moreno is 9 years old, and was born in Sevilla. She comes from one of the most important flamenco families in Spain, the Farruco. From a young age, she developed an enthusiasm for the performing arts, and made her debut in a family show at La Maestranza. When Soleá was 4 years old, she starred in a Christmas show, Navidad En Familia where she made her debut as an actress and dancer.
