Host broadcaster France Télévisions have revealed the theme art for the upcoming edition of Junior Eurovision. The contest will be held in Paris, France on the 19th of December.
The theme art for the upcoming contest was inspired by three elements. Perhaps the most recognisable is the iconic Eiffel Tower, however there was also inspiration taken from the Christmas tree. The Christmas tree represents ‘magic, wonder, joy and giving’. With the contest taking place later than in previous years, France will certainly be in the festive spirit for Junior Eurovision this year.
The final inspiration for the theme art is the slogan, ‘Imagine’. The slogan is an invitation to dream, and to represent this concept, the team has used the idea of a rocket. The rocket has been a way to reach the stars, and the theme art shows a star at the peak of the design.
This year’s contest will take place on Sunday 19th December at the La Seine Musicale. The contest heads to France after Valentina won the 2020 edition of the contest with J’Imagine. Watch the performance below:
