2015 Junior Eurovision host is…. Poli Genova!

With less than a month left to go before the 17 Junior Eurovision stars hit the stage in Arena Armeec, BNT has announced that the host of this year’s contest is none other than Poli Genova!

Fans of Eurovision will recognise Poli Genova as the singer who participated for Bulgaria in 2011 with the song Na Inat. Now, she will have the opportunity to host Junior Eurovision in front of millions of fans across the world!

Poli has made a statement regarding her new opportunity:

“I am really happy that Bulgaria is hosting the most prestigious song contest for young artists in Europe and that BNT decided that I am the right person to host it, I can’t wait to discover this event and I am sure it will be unforgettable! Let’s support the young artists together because they are our future.”

The former Eurovision singer impressed the broadcaster a few months ago during auditions held with a number of television hosts. Her English and confidence on stage won her the job, and BNT thinks she is a perfect fit for the teenage audience of the show.

Her music career also started when she was only 4 years old, and in 1995 joined a vocal group called Bon-Bon. Since then, she has graduated from the Lubomir Pipkov National School of Music playing the clarinet, and from NAFTA with a degree in film production – what a talented lady!
