Today, Greek broadcaster ERT broke their silence and announced that Greek band Argo will be representing the nation in Stockholm in May. Although details are scarce, especially regarding the song, we do know that the band consists of Christina Lachana as lead singer, Maria Venetikidou, Vladimiros Sofianidis, Kostas Topouzis, Illias Kesidis and Alekos Papadopoulos.
The band was formerly known as Europond, and the reasons for the name change to Argo are currently unknown. The band produces music considered hip hop, and has hinted through their facebook page that they are currently recording their Eurovision entry.
