The national broadcaster of Ukraine, NTU, has confirmed that they will be participating in Junior Eurovision once again, and now, the application process has begun for artists aged between 9 and 14.
The deadline for submission is on the 10th of August, and then on the 13th, there will be a semi-final held, where the best entries will be picked by a jury. The final is scheduled for September, however more details will be released closer to the date.
Ukraine has participated in Junior Eurovision since 2006, and won for the first time in 2012. Anastasiya Petryk, although small in size, and only 10 years old, blew away audiences with the song Nebo, and as such, Ukraine hosted in 2013, however also hosted in 2009.
Last year, Ukraine sent Anna Trincher with the song Pochny z Sebe (Start with yourself) which finished in 11th place.
