Over the last two weeks, we’ve seen 18 talented acts take to the stage in Ukraine, all competing for a spot in the finals, and ultimately the opportunity to represent Ukraine at Eurovision this year. During the semi-finals, from the nine competing acts, only three qualified, leaving a final of six competitors. It was a tough competition, but we have our winner!
As we know from previous weeks, the voting is made up of both jury and televoting, with the jury consisting of Jamala, Andriy Danylko (also known as Verka Serduchka) and Yevhen Filatov, singer and producer, and creator of group ONUKA. This week the acts not only performed their competing entries, but also performed a Eurovision cover.

Let’s go through the voting, starting with the jury vote. Andriy Danylko’s top points this week went to Mélovin with Under the Ladder, with Tayanna in second and Laud in third. Jamala’s top points went to Tayanna with Lelya, with Laud in second and Mélovin in third. Yevhen Filatov gave his top points to Kadnay with Beat of the Universe, with Tayanna in second and Mélovin in third.
With the jury points combined, Tayanna was in first place with a total of 16 points, Mélovin in second with 14 points and Laud in third with 12 points. These total points were converted into points from 1 to 6, with the top points being 6. The televote percentages were also converted into points from 1 to 6, so let’s go through the televote.
Taking the top percentage of the televotes was Mélovin with Under the Ladder, which received a dominating percentage of 33.81%. Coming in second with the public was Kadnay, who received 18.61%, and in third was Tayanna with 16.62%.
With all the points combined, the winner of the competition was Mélovin with a total of 11 points, with Tayanna a close second place with 10 points. In third was Kadnay with 8 points. Here’s the complete final standings:
