Mélovin to Eurovision for Ukraine!

Over the last two weeks, we’ve seen 18 talented acts take to the stage in Ukraine, all competing for a spot in the finals, and ultimately the opportunity to represent Ukraine at Eurovision this year. During the semi-finals, from the nine competing acts, only three qualified, leaving a final of six competitors. It was a tough competition, but we have our winner!

As we know from previous weeks, the voting is made up of both jury and televoting, with the jury consisting of Jamala, Andriy Danylko (also known as Verka Serduchka) and Yevhen Filatov, singer and producer, and creator of group ONUKA. This week the acts not only performed their competing entries, but also performed a Eurovision cover.

Here’s the competing acts:

  • Kadnay – Beat of the Universe (Cover: Waterloo by ABBA)
