X Factor Malta: Just Four Finalists Remain!

The third live show of the debut season of the X Factor Malta has taken place, with the remaining 8 finalists performing songs to the theme, ‘Movie Spectacular.’

In the last two weeks, just two acts have been eliminated in each show, however this week four acts were eliminated. This week the acts prepared two songs for the show, and after all 8 acts performed their first song, two were eliminated. Then, after the performances of the second songs from the remaining 6 acts, one was immediately eliminated, while two other acts went through to the Final Showdown where another would be eliminated.

Nicole Frendo – Skyfall
Norbert Bondin – The Greatest Showman
Michela Pace – I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing
Luke Chappell – Heathens
Kelsey Bellante – Pray for Me
Petra – We Don’t Need Another Hero

Two acts were eliminated after this round, and they were Ben Purplle and Kelsey Bellante.

Eliminated immediately was Norbert Bondin, while Owen Leuellen and Luke Chappell were sent to the Final Showdown. The judges were split between the two acts, meaning that the vote would return to the public vote, and it was Luke Chappell.
