Eurovision Union’s Weekly Playlist (29/52)

Each week, Eurovision Union will be bringing you a specially curated playlist featuring songs recently released by Eurovision or National Final artists, and a few of our old favourites. This week it really is a mixture of national final songs, or new songs from national final artists, along with some tunes from Eurovision artists. Plenty to love!

Listen to the playlist here:

Let’s start off with the Eurovision artists, including former Eurovision winner Helena Paprizou, who we’ve featured recently in one of our previous playlists with this same song, titled Haide, however this week we’ve featured the English version which we’ve recently discovered! We’ve got 2017 Bulgarian artist Kristian Kostov with the Bulgarian language version of his popular track, You Got Me Girl, titled Ne Si Za Men. From Italian artist Francesca Michielin, we’ve featured her new track titled Vulcano, not to be confused with Clementino’s most recent album! From Donatan and Cleo we’ve got Brać featuring Enej, which is one of our faves from the Polish duo!

From Moldovan 2010 and 2017 representatives Sunstroke Project, we’ve got the song Epic Sax, which features the infamous epic sax solo! From German trio Elaiza, we’ve got the song I Don’t Love You, and speaking of girl groups, we’ve got Elena Temnikova, who was part of the Russian group Serebro. From Portuguese representative from 2015, Leonor Andrade, we’ve got the song Strong for Too Long.

Moving onto national final artists, we’ve for the new tracks from Belarusian national finalists Nuteki, and the newest release from Ukrainian group The Hardkiss. Portuguese national finalist Fernando Daniel has just released a new track as well, titled Espera. From Spanish sensation Mirela, we’ve featured her track Soy Como Soy. From Swedish Melfest participants Les Gordons, we’ve featured Backbeat, which is on their 2015 release album, which is self-titled.

Keeping with the Swedish theme, we’ve got Adrijana, who was a debut Melodifestivalen act this year, and just released an EP not too long ago, which we’ve chosen the song Nån som mig from. We’ve also got Dinah Nah with her Melfest song from this year, titled One More Night.

We’ve got more national final songs, including the song Glory by Calidora, which was part of Hungary’s selection, A Dal. Also from A Dal is Ádam Szabó, who participated this year with the song Together. Also hoping to be selected for the 2017 edition of Eurovision was Tayanna from Ukraine, who was one of our favourite artists of the entire national final season with the song I Love You, which is making an appearance on this week’s playlist! A favourite from a previous year was Mikael Saari, with his 2016 national final song On It Goes.

Last but not least, we’ve got the newest track from ONUKA who performed at Eurovision 2017 as the Grand Final interval act. The new song is called Vsesvit!
