Each week, we’ve been creating specially curated playlists featuring some of our favourite songs from Eurovision and National final stars, new and old! In this week’s playlist we’ve featured some past songs from Eurovision performers we’ve been enjoying this week and we’ve also got some newer tracks from former national final artists!
Listen to the playlist here:
Let’s start off with the new tracks of this week, which includes a collaboration between 2017 Eurovision artists Manel Navarro and JOWST, with the base song Keep On Falling remixed by Norway’s JOWST. Also from Norway is Debrah Scarlett, who was one half of the Norwegian Eurovision act in 2015. She has just come back with a song called In the Army Now, which we’re really enjoying! In last week’s playlist we talked about Swedish artist Darin, who had just released two new songs. This week we featured the 2nd single which is called Alla ögon på mig.
Former Lithuanian representative Monika Linkyte released a new track late last month titled Gal Tai Meilė. Fellow 2015 Eurovision act Boggie has also just released new music, with one of the new releases titled Confidences sur le divan. ALSO from 2015, we’ve got duo Maraaya, who represented Slovenia at Eurovision with their new track which is called Diamond Duck. Shiri Maimon has also released new music this week, as has Ovi from Romania, who just released Vreau Sa-Mi Fac Viata.
Some more new tracks include one from Croatia’s Severina, who has just released the track Hazarder. Former Dutch representative Trijntje Oosterhuis has just released an entirely new album as well, and this week we’ve taken the song Is Dit Alles to feature on the playlist. Pastora Soler has also just released a new album, and we’ve featured the song Contigo (not to be confused with Mirela’s 2017 national final song!).
Now to some of our older favourites, which include the track Manboy which is by former Swedish Eurovision artist Eric Saade! It still remains as one of his most popular tracks, and it’s definitely one of his most catchy! We’ve got the song Miss Calculation, which was part of Elina Born’s previous self-titled album. Also from Estonia, we’ve got two-time Eurovision participant Koit Toome with the song Your Stories, in which he features. We’ve also got Ott Lepland with the VIP mix of his latest single Siin Me Kokku Saime.
From Iceland, we’ve got the song Dancing in the Storm by former Eurovision representative Maria Olafs. From Finland we’ve got rock group Softengine with a track off their previous album titled We Created the World, and the song we chose is called Circle. We’ve got Germany’s Jamie Lee with the song Wild One off her 2016 album titled Berlin. The last few tracks we’ve got this week are the song Finishing Line by Ireland’s Nicky Byrne, as well as the cover of one of the most popular Eurovision songs in history, Nel blu, dipinto di blu (Volare) as covered by 2015 Eurovision representative Il Volo!
